Bonavista Apartments offers tourist apartments, we are not a hotel. These apartments are similar to a regular home, with a living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms.

The price is very similar to that of a hotel room with the same comfort features and a similar location. Our clients choose to stay in tourist apartments because this concept fits better with their travel style, not because it is cheaper.

The apartments we manage are grouped in buildings exclusively dedicated to holiday rentals, so there are no neighbours living in the building.

We have established a method to thoroughly inspect everything before our clients enter the apartment. Our cleaning team notifies us when they detect any issues so that we can repair them as soon as possible. We also provide transparent and honest information to avoid surprises on the day of arrival. The online reviews from our guests support us.

All apartments have a Tourist Use Housing or Tourist Housing license, without exception.

We specialize in short-term rentals, from 2 days to a few weeks, but we do not rent for years.

Tourist apartments are a different concept from hotels. They have the following advantages:
- Apartments offer more space than hotel rooms.
- Possibility of accommodating the entire family in the same apartment.
- Allows experiencing the city from a local perspective.
- Possibility of preparing a meal and enjoying dinner "at home" with the whole family.

There is no problem, the apartments can be visited at any time as long as they are not occupied by other guests. You just need to contact us, and we will be happy to show you the apartments that may interest you the most.

Our policy requires a minimum of 2 nights for booking. As a general rule, we offer rentals for a maximum of 2 months, but each case can be considered.

If an apartment appears on our website as available, you can book it directly from the page. Our online calendar is continuously updated in real time.

The most convenient procedure is booking online, as it is reserved from that moment. However, you can certainly make the reservation by email or phone call.

Once the reservation is made and confirmation received, the apartment is yours and no longer appears as available to other potential customers.

We consider 'adults' to be individuals aged 17 and older.
We consider 'children' to be individuals aged 5 to 16.
We consider 'babies' to be individuals aged four or younger.
When making the reservation, you do not need to include babies (4 years or younger) as they do not count towards the accommodation price. However, it's important that you inform us of how many there are so we can prepare their beds and provide towels!

In the city of Barcelona, a tourist tax is paid per person per night. The people who have to pay this tax are those aged 17 and older; those aged 16 or younger are exempt. That's why we make the distinction at 17 years.

You will receive the reservation confirmation by email.

Each building has a specific number of apartments in each category, such as one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartments, with or without a terrace, etc. We guarantee that the apartment is of the indicated category, but we cannot guarantee the specific apartment, which floor it will be on, or its orientation, as we depend on a calendar that is synchronized with several channels, and the reservation fits into the available apartment within that category.

If you want to cancel or modify the reservation, you need to differentiate:
- If you made the reservation through our website, you can cancel it using the link in the confirmation email.
- If you made the reservation by email or phone, you need to contact the reservations department.
- If you made the reservation through a third-party channel, you need to manage the cancellation with that channel.

The cancellation policy depends on the rate selected. At the time of booking, each rate has a link with detailed conditions.

The cancellation conditions always apply. This is why we recommend always purchasing travel insurance, which covers illness and other reasons that might prevent travel. You can purchase it through us or directly with your trusted insurance provider.

You must consider that a hotel, due to its number of rooms and volume of bookings, has a greater ability to occupy rooms freed up by cancellations. We do not have this capacity, and that is why we ask for a greater commitment from our clients.

The final price of the reservation includes VAT, final cleaning, sheets and towels, as well as utilities and internet. If the stay is longer than 7 nights, it also includes weekly cleanings.

The price does not include parking, daily cleaning, breakfast, or other additional services.

In a hotel, daily cleaning is done, and the space to clean is relatively small and simple. In apartments, only final or weekly cleaning is done, and the space is double or triple that of a hotel room; plus, it has elements like the kitchen that require a lot of work. We believe that charging separately for cleaning better reflects the service provided.

The tourist tax is a fee the city charges to visitors who stay there. Calculating this tax is often complicated, as it takes into account different variables that may change until the time of arrival. Additionally, the regulations state that the accommodation provider is responsible for settling the tax with the Administration. That is why no sales channel charges the tax, and they always state that it will be paid directly to the establishment.

Children pay from the age of 5. It is important to inform us of the number of children under 5 years old, even if they are not included in the price so that beds can be made and the necessary towels provided.

When making the reservation, a payment is required, which varies depending on the selected rate. The remaining amount will be requested a few days before arrival, during the pre-check-in. The payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer.

The card details are entered directly into the bank’s payment gateway. Bonavista Apartments does not have access to them. Furthermore, the system requires authentication of the cardholder, so only the cardholder can make the payment.

For online payment of the reservation, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners, and Union Pay.

Please request the payment receipt from our staff. We can also issue an invoice, which you will receive by email in PDF format. If you need the invoice at the end of your stay, please inform us upon arrival and provide the details if you wish it to be under a different name.

The deposit is 100% refundable as long as the apartment has not suffered any damage and the house rules have been respected. It is refunded through the same method it was paid.

In case of cancellation, the conditions associated with the selected rate apply. If a flexible rate reservation is cancelled within the free cancellation period, the full amount is refunded.

In Spain, regulations require that all accommodation establishments register the identity documents of all guests, not just the reservation holder. Depending on the country, either an identity card or passport is required.

Certain channels, like Booking.com, Expedia, or Hotels.com, ask for a credit card when making a reservation. However, this does not mean the payment has been made; it is simply a guarantee for the establishment. In other cases, the payment has indeed been made to the channel, but some items remain unpaid, such as the tourist tax or an additional service requested, like a parking space.

The check-in time for the apartments is from 3:00 PM onwards. However, if you have to arrive before 3:00 PM, we will try to provide you with the apartment as soon as possible. In case the apartment is not ready, we can temporarily store your luggage. Please note that the previous guest's check-out time is 11:00 AM, and we need several hours to prepare the apartment."

If you have any problem, you should call the 24-hour emergency phone number on the card given to you upon arrival. This phone number also appears in the entry instructions, in the apartment dossier, and on the security sign on the apartment door.

If something does not work or breaks down during your stay, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can repair it and make your stay more comfortable.

The check-out time for the apartment is until 11:00 AM. We can extend the check-out time if you need to leave later, provided there are no incoming guests.

All the apartments are equipped with free WiFi connection.

The additional services we offer are chauffeur rental, tourist guides, bicycle or scooter rental, taxi bookings, restaurant reservations, etc. Contact us for more information.

Yes, since we have entire buildings available, we are a very good option for groups as they can stay in the same location.

Of course, children are welcome.

The invoice is sent via email in PDF format. If you require an invoice, please inform us upon arrival. If you wish for it to be made out to a different name or the company's name, you must provide us with the necessary details to process it.

If you have a disability or are travelling with someone with a disability, please contact us so we can advise you. We prefer to provide you with the measurements of the apartments so that you can decide whether they are suitable for you.

We love animals, and we have allowed pets in the past. However, due to the abuse and misconduct of some guests, we have been forced to stop accepting pets in our apartments.

No, smoking is not allowed in the apartments.

All our apartments are located in highly commercial areas where you will find supermarkets, cafés, pharmacies, restaurants, and all necessary services.

Security is one of our priorities. The buildings are equipped with a video surveillance system and security doors.
